Mobile app vs desktop software: what changes for a seller
The two don't serve the same job. The official mobile app is great for buying, chatting and publishing a single item on the fly. It becomes a bottleneck as soon as your closet passes thirty or so listings.
- Typing — on a keyboard, a description takes 30 seconds; with your thumbs, three minutes.
- Photos — on a computer you edit a batch of photos already touched up, instead of shooting item by item.
- Price comparison — several tabs side by side, impossible on mobile.
- Batch processing — relist or drop the price on 40 listings in a row, which the mobile app doesn't allow.
The modules of the software
- AI writer — title, description, hashtags and category from a photo, in the format that ranks in Vinted search.
- Price estimate — a price that explains itself (brand, condition, category), refined by your own sales; you decide on drops.
- Hidden-gem finder (early access) — helps spot underpriced items in your closet.
- Messaging assistant — buyer replies prepared for you, one-click approval.
Software, extension or bot: three different things
The vocabulary online is fuzzy, and the confusion costs accounts. Three tool families, three risk levels:
- Browser extension — a button grafted onto the Vinted site. Simple, but limited to one action and broken by every interface redesign.
- Hosted bot — a remote server calls Vinted's internal API for hundreds of accounts. That's the profile the platform detects and suspends; full detail in our guide to Vinted bots.
- Local software — installed on your machine, it prepares your listings and replies; in early access, it can also act in your browser, on your session, with a STOP button. Revindo's category.
Installing the software on Mac or PC
- macOS — Apple Silicon (M1 or later) only: download the .dmg, drag the app into Applications, allow it to open on first launch.
- Windows 10 / 11 — standard .exe installer, x64.
- Companion Chrome extension — this is what carries out the actions on Vinted; pairing takes one click from the app.
- Existing Vinted account — personal or Vinted Pro, no password required.
Download links and the full setup steps are on the download page.

Frequently asked questions
Is there a Vinted app for computers?
Vinted has a website for desktop, but no desktop app built for sellers. Revindo fills that gap: a macOS and Windows app that drafts listings, estimates prices and prepares buyer replies.
What's the best Vinted management software for sellers?
For browsing and chatting, the official Vinted app is enough. For selling at volume you need a proper workstation: a big screen, a keyboard, and a tool that handles listings in batches. That's what desktop management software like Revindo is for.
What's the difference between a Vinted extension and management software?
A browser extension bolts a button onto the Vinted site and breaks every time the interface changes. Local management software handles the whole selling workflow — writing, pricing, relisting, messaging — and stays maintained.
Can AI write my Vinted listings?
Yes: from a single photo, the title, description, hashtags and category are generated in the format that ranks in Vinted search. You review and edit, then publish.
Does Revindo also manage Leboncoin?
Vinted is supported in production, including Vinted Pro accounts. Leboncoin support is under construction.
Why desktop software instead of a website?
Because it acts from your own session and your own IP address. That's what separates it from a hosted bot, and it's what protects your account.
Do I need to give up my Vinted password?
No. The software acts from your session, already open, on your machine and your IP — no credentials or tokens are ever sent to a third-party server.
What machines does it run on, and what does it cost?
macOS on Apple Silicon (M1 or later) only, and Windows 10/11. From €19/month with no commitment; the interactive demo is free and needs no account.
