Automating Vinted: what's allowed, what gets you banned

Four tasks eat up most of a Vinted reseller's time: writing, pricing, relisting, replying. Here's what Vinted's terms say about automation, and what you can prepare without automating anything.

Short answer

Vinted's terms (version effective 5 October 2026) prohibit using any external software tool, bots included, while using the site, unless Vinted allows it. Automating actions on your account is therefore at your own risk, whatever the tool.

What you can prepare without automating anything: listing copy, a price estimate and reply drafts, which you then post yourself.

1. Writing listings

One photo is enough: title, description, hashtags and category are generated in the format that ranks in Vinted search. You edit what you don't like, then publish. The interactive demo on the homepage shows it live, no account needed.

2. Pricing, estimated and explained

The right price isn't what's listed online, it's what similar items actually sold for. Revindo estimates a price from your own sales (without a sales history, it labels it a plain estimate) and explains it; a sound rule of thumb for drops is −10% at day 7 with no favourites, −10% at day 14, then relist by hand at day 21.

3. Relisting at the right pace

Relist too often and the algorithm buries you; too rarely and you disappear. The sweet spot sits around 8 to 14 days, at peak browsing hours — never at fixed second-by-second intervals.

4. Buyer messaging

Response time affects conversion. Drafts are prepared in a human tone, matched to the buyer's profile — you approve with one click.

What you should never automate

  • Mass unsolicited messages (spam → reports).
  • Creating multiple accounts.
  • Looping likes or follows.
  • Relisting every hour.

Frequently asked questions

Is automating Vinted allowed?

Vinted's terms (version effective 5 October 2026) prohibit using any external software tool, bots included, while using the site, unless Vinted allows it. An assistant that drafts a listing, suggests a price and prepares a reply that you post yourself does not act on the site.

What can you prepare without automating anything on Vinted?

Listing copy, a price estimate and buyer reply drafts, which you then post yourself.

How much time does it actually save?

Writing 30 listings by hand takes about 5 hours. With assisted generation, expect around fifteen minutes of review.

Does it work on Mac and Windows?

Yes, Revindo installs on macOS (Apple Silicon, M1 or later) and on Windows 10/11.

Do I need technical skills?

No. Installation takes a few minutes, with no code and no token to retrieve.
