Why a dedicated desktop app matters for sellers
The official mobile app is excellent for buying, chatting and quickly posting a single item. It turns into a bottleneck once a closet passes thirty or so listings.
- Typing — a description takes 30 seconds on a keyboard, three minutes with your thumbs.
- Photos — process a whole edited batch at once instead of shooting item by item.
- Price comparison — several tabs open side by side, impossible on mobile.
- Batch actions — relist or drop the price on 40 listings in a row, something the mobile app can't do.
What the Revindo desktop app includes
- AI writer — title, description, hashtags and category from a photo, formatted to rank in Vinted search.
- Price estimate — a price that explains itself (brand, condition, category), refined by your own sales; you decide on drops.
- Hidden-gem finder (early access) — helps flag underpriced items in your closet.
- Messaging assistant — buyer replies prepared for you, one-click approval.
Desktop app, extension or bot: not the same thing
The terminology gets mixed up online, and the mix-up costs accounts. Three tool families, three risk levels:
- Browser extension — a button added to the Vinted site. Simple, but limited to one action and broken by every interface update.
- Hosted bot — a remote server calling Vinted's internal API for hundreds of accounts. The profile the platform detects and suspends; see our guide to Vinted bots.
- Local desktop app — installed on your machine, it prepares your listings and replies; in early access, it can also act in your browser, on your own session, with a STOP button. Revindo's category.
Installing the app on Mac or PC
- macOS — Apple Silicon (M1 or later) only: download the .dmg, drag the app into Applications, allow it to open on first launch.
- Windows 10 / 11 — standard .exe installer, x64.
- Companion Chrome extension — carries out the actions inside Vinted; pairing is one click from the app.
- Existing Vinted account — personal or Vinted Pro, no password needed.
Download links and the full setup steps are on the download page.

Frequently asked questions
Is there a Vinted desktop app for Mac or Windows?
Vinted itself only ships a website for computers — no official desktop app. Revindo is a third-party desktop app for macOS and Windows that adds what sellers actually need: AI-drafted listings, price estimates and buyer reply drafts.
What does the Revindo desktop app do?
It drafts titles, descriptions, hashtags and categories from a photo; estimates a price and explains it; and prepares buyer replies you review. Automatic publishing is in early access.
Does the app replace the official Vinted app?
No, it complements it. Use the official app or website to buy and browse; use the desktop app to handle the selling side at volume, from a real keyboard and screen.
Is it safe to use a third-party desktop app with Vinted?
Vinted's terms forbid external software tools while using the site, so no tool that acts on your account is risk-free. By default, Revindo only prepares your listings and replies on your own machine, and you post them. Its agent mode, in early access, acts in your own browser session and stops at any time with the STOP button.
Does it work with Vinted Pro accounts?
Yes, Vinted Pro accounts are fully supported in production.
What about Leboncoin?
Vinted is supported today; Leboncoin support is under construction.
What machines and what price?
macOS on Apple Silicon (M1 or later) only, and Windows 10/11. From €19/month with no commitment; the interactive demo is free and needs no account.
